Alma is one the best small packages

I found this through a Drawn! post by John Martz (incidentally, Martz is the guy who introduced me to this wonderful new Posterous!). Here is a perfectly perfect animated short by first time director Rodrigo Blaas. I love the design and feel and the simple, straight-forward macabre climax. Very satisfying. Who says you need to sit through 2 hours of dramatic rollercoaster rides to get good film? Sometimes short is more effective. Just ask Shakira.
